What stays in your browser
- Your approximate location, only if you allow it, so we can show the nearest pros. It is saved in your browser (local storage) and you can clear it any time.
- Your last search, kept only for the current browsing session.
What reaches our servers
Like any website, our hosting provider receives the pages you request. When you search “near me”, the search URL includes rounded coordinates so the page can sort pros by distance. We do not ask customers to create an account, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Other services the page uses
- Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap, which receives the map areas your browser requests.
- Calling or sending a WhatsApp message opens your phone or WhatsApp; that conversation is between you and the pro.
- Links to a pro’s Google, Yelp or other profiles open those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Business information
Business listings come from what pros publish, public Google Maps data and state contractor license registries. We show business contact details so customers can reach them. Businesses can claim their listing to correct it, or ask us to remove it as described on the contact page.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we will update this page and its date.
